As a Host/Hostess you will work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, environment to deliver the best dining experience to our guests by:</li>

A food runner needs to have an eye for detail and high quality standards</li>
<li>
The ideal busser is detail oriented, self-motivated and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.</li>
<li>
<strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></li>
<li>
Introducing guests to their server</li>
<li>
Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately setting guest expectations</li>
<li>
Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest</li>
<li>
Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return</li>
<li>
Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner</li>
<li>
Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion</li>
<li>
Deliver exceptional customer service by quickly and efficiently clearing restaurant tables</li>
<li>
Carry large loads of dishes to kitchen for washing</li>
<li>
Support other areas of the restaurant as necessary, such as setup, cleanup, prep work and equipment maintenance</li>

Requirements
<p>

<ul>
<li>
Must be a minimum of 18 years old</li>
<li>
High School diploma or GED</li>
<li>
Minimum of 6 months experience in food service/hospitality desired, but not required</li>
<li>
Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment</li>
<li>
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers</li>
<li>
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs</li>
<li>
City of Austin Food handler's card required</li>
<li>
Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner</li>
<li>
Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions</li>
<li>
Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English</li>
